Rupee continues its free fall; hits 70.82
Proceeding with its free-fall, the Rupee today debilitated by another 23p against the US Dollar to exchange at a lifetime-low of 70.82 on solid month-end interest for the USD in the midst of managed outside store surges.
At the Interbank Foreign Exchange (Forex) advertise, the ₹ opened a bit higher at 70.57 a USD from its past close of 70.59

Forex merchants said other than solid month-end interest for the USD, purchasing by importers, primarily oil refiners in perspective of flooding raw petroleum costs and capital outpourings weighed on the domestic currency.
The USD quality against its opponent monetary forms abroad too put weight on the Rupee, they said.
The ₹ had recorded a lofty fall of 49p, hitting 70.59 a USD in the past session.
